There is a need to provide sports facilities for young people on the Hoo Peninsula. Having spoken to many youngsters from different villages it is evident that football is a popular choice. There is a strong football team at Cliffe Woods but nothing approaching this anywhere else on the Peninsula. Mark and I would like to give a focus to the need to provide something for the youngsters to do by organising a series of football focus days in the hope that it will draw attention to the determination and energy that just need channelling in the right direction. The first football focus day will take place in High Halstow with more to follow in other villages. George Crozer |
