Memorial Hall
This hall is special,
as it was built by the service men who returned from World War I. It was
opened in February, 1920. Over the past few years it has undergone much
refurbishment, but keeping it true to the original. The Parish Council has two
representatives on the Memorial Hall Committee which meets regularly to
ensure the continuation of this village asset. For further details

Planning
When a resident applies for planning
permission to Medway Council (the Planning Authority), on receipt they
will send a copy of the application to the Parish Clerk. The Parish
Council is a statutory consultee and has to be advised of all planning

Village Hall
The Hall is the home
of the Doctor’s Surgery, Youth Club, Badminton Clubs and Dramarama. The
Parish is actively fundraising to “Help Upgrade Our Geriatric Hall”,
hence the “Hugh Fund”. When “HUGH” has achieved its goal, the new
building will be called “The Heron Centre”. The Parish Council has two
